Looking to make a movie

I am almost done writin a story,I would like to try to make a movie out of it
What should I do next?

This could be an expensive venture, anywhere between thousands and millions of dollars, depending what you ultimately want to do with your movie..

If you can't fund it yourself, you have to get investors. To get investors, you need a business plan to show the investors how much money they will make. A business plan could take up to a year to research and put together... and part of that business plan I'd think, would be a screenplay version of your story, which you'll need to outsource.

Well I'm no expert on movie making but I think when you are done and happy with the story you have wrote, you should look for some people who are interested in playing the roles of you characters and photocopy some scripts for them to learn. Maybe hold auditions. Find costumes for you characters and buy props, you should also consider scenery, e.g. If you wanted snow in your movie you could download/buy movie editing software or an illusion software(like Partical Illusions)The weather is always a dilemma since you might want it sunny and it could be raining, so special effects are always helpful. Or if you wanted other kinds such as indoor, woods...etc, you could look at local areas near were you live. Another main ingredient of a movie would have to be music, you have to pick the right choices of music for the situation in the movie, e.g. sad scene - slow sad music, happy scene - happy upbeat fun music. Music in films always sets the mood.
