Looking for merle chihuahua

I am looking for a smooth coat merle chihuahua. I promise a great home. I work as a vet assistant. I just love this breed. I do not want to support a puppy mill. Does anyone know a good breeder or anything that could help me out? Please I don't want to...

You can call your local chihuahua dog club (if any) for a breeder directory.

Other than that, you can try searching online in your area or nearby states for breeders. You may be better at this since I am from Australia. Here are a few websites that I pulled up that might help you locate some breeders:

I have look also, but I want to know first hand if anyone knows someone. For me it is hard to trust someone on line and not be able to see the conditions first hand and the mother and father. I do see a lot of bad stuff where I work so I hope you understand my caution. This is way I was wondering if anyone knew of someone they trust and would buy a puppy from. Thanks for your help.

Watch the news paper for someone offering their dog for free or better yet post an ad asking for a dog...people die and need homes for their dogs...I dont see why you dont go to the rescue for that type of dog...? have you been refused before?

Ok to abc2xyz I have never been Refused. I work at a hospital and have fostered and adopted and I do have a Deaf Merle Aussie that was a result of Merle on Merle breeding. I do no that the chihuahua merle is a mix with a dachshund or another breed and some breeds are against this color. However I have also heard as long as the merle is not breed with the merle there seem to be no problems. I am just doing homework. This is called Funadvice and that is what I am looking for. Just some info or important facts they someone would like to share.
To Bombness666 I do not know what Pet and Go, is. I have helped a lot of pets and this is just a breed I would like for myself without the B.S of papers and Rare color. I don't want to show I just want a pet. So help out with some info If you can. Thanks
