you should read the book eragon and then eldest if you havnt already

theyre long so if you dont mind

if you are looking for something shorter get the giver

The last two fiction books I read were by Keith Hartman.

The Gumshoe, the Witch, and the Virtual Corpse

Gumshoe Gorilla

Pretty good read unless you are particularily prudish or Fundamentalist Christian.

My boyfriend bought this book by a man by the name of Tucker Max... It's called 'I hope They Serve Beer in Hell', and its really graphic, but very good. It's an autobiography (some things may be fictional but its mostly true at least) and its about this guy's addiction to sex and alcohol. I wish I owned it because I only read parts, but I didn't want to put it down!!! Check it out online first. Good luck!

V.C.Andrews is a wonderful author, she typically writes 5-book series about families and all of their secrets and drama, they are very suspenseful and about 400 pages long, but they are so good that when I start them, it only takes me 1-2 days to read! Some of them are The Dollanganger series which includes 'Flowers in the Attic', The Casteel series, 'Heavenly', My Sweet Audrina, and many others! Some of the newer ones were written by a man that took over writing books in the same style as V.C.Andrews under her name, after she passed away. Those are okay, but hers are definately better! Give them a try and I'm sure you will love them! Mary Higgins Clark is good too, she writes about smart succesful forty-ish women who are involved in mysteries!
