Sky, at the age of 15 they usually don't work. The reasons are varied, so I will list just a couple.
First, at your age, relationships of any kind usually only last 6-9 months. Tops
(Yes SOME do last, and I know one that went 26 years.)
At younger ages, the people involved do not have the resources to get together and reaffirm the partnership face-to-face. By this I mean time and money to drive or fly back and forth.
Finally high school is a time usually used to be dating different people. If you try to hold on to this relationship, you will not get that chance.

If you are going to try anyway, I would suggest that you both get web cams so you can actually SEE each other. I think I heard about something called iTalk (??).

What ever happens, I wish you both the very best of luck.

yes they work. I know how you feel, im in a long distance relationship too. You guys love eachother, it WILL work..but beware of the hard conversations refering to how far away from eachother you two are. they are painful and sometimes result in taking breaks which has happened to me and believe me, the littlest comment sets them off. If he's not too far away, you guys shud be able to meet up regularly and if anything it might make your love for eachother stronger since you'll be longing to meet up the next time and it will be exciting happy it will make you guys stronger , no doubt you two are anyway ..hopefully it will all work out. Keep up regular contact and distance wont seem such a big deal after a while. God luckhappy
