Long distance realtionships

Do long distance realtionships work out??

In a word: Nope

my mate has had 2 and broke up both times because they never see eachother.
it is hard to have a LD relationship as you talk to them and get to love them more and then find out you cant hardly see them.
they dont really work

If you put enough effort into them I bet that they would.

I've been in mine for 4 1/2 years now and it's been great. It depends on the people, what you're willing to do, and how often you can see one another.
Mine is only starting to end now because of differences like any other couple faces.

wow! thats so great! well not the starting to end part Im sorry to hear that. But I love hearing stories about LDR lasting over a year! It just gives me more motivation to keep working on what we have...aw man! This just made my day! lol :D

parties and stuff...trust is something that is not 100% there'in our
relationship and thats what makes it hard

From experience.. they dont usualy work for me.. I mean not from my end but from the guys end of the relationship... But then again it depends how often youll see him and how much you bothwant to be together
I mean a friend of mine waswith herboyfriend 2 months before she moved away to college and they are still together now.. making it a year and she only sees him on mid term breaks.
Where as another friend had been with her boyfriend two years and she moved away to college and they were still together.
But the again the last person I knew of having a long distance relationship was a couple I knew and they seemed unbreakable. Been together almost 3 years, she goes away for about a year and he couldnt handle it. It depends how you both feel about it, and how much you bothwill work on seeing each other.
