Logo contest

Well, there's this contest at my school, where you have to design a logo for the youth health center. 1st prize is 200 $, 2nd is 125$ and 3rd is 75$. I could really use some extra cash and I'm a good artist, but I don't know what to do. It has to exude welcomeing, kindness, warmth, health etc. It can't be more than colours and it has to be very clear and visible from a distance. Any ideas? Thanks

Got a few ideas.

1) You have an outline of an apple or another piece of fruit, and just behind it you draw a shining sun.

2) You draw or sketch the outline of a person running/jogging

3) You draw a yin-yang (google search if you don't know what this symbol is) and include a health-related picture on each half of the circle.

4) Draw the outline of a human body with arms stretched out, and a shining sun in the background.

5) Draw a heart outline, and in the middle of it, sketch a person running

6) Draw an apple or piece of fruit, and on either side of it, a human hand as if they are reaching for the fruit.

These ideas may suck, but at least they'll help jog some ideas of your own. Good luck, hope you win!
