Locked computer

Asked by skid 7 months ago, 4 answers.

I bought acomputer from an out of business company with XP Professional on it. I can't use it because It asks for a user name and password ans an old domain that does not exist anymore. I do not have any of that.

Is there a way to by pass the passwords or just start from new. I am not trying to save any info on it?

Take it to a computer tech. If it is a legitament sale they can unlock it. . . . . or you can probably have to buy a new copy of windows XP. Either way your looking at probably $150.00

if you have the windows OS put it in the cd rom and then reboot, and when the BIOs screen pops up hit f12 for the boot options, and you should see your cd rom drive...boot form cd,and the windows instalation begins,...note: you will need a drivers disk to install all drives, without the drivers disks you will not have aidio or you special video driver, etc.
