Living expensses in japan ?

I heard on tv that health engineer (that's they call garbage collector) earn up to 10,000 a month soo I started wondering does that mean they are rich ?
Or is that kind of money considered little in comparison with their living expenses

lol I've lived in japan for 6 years of my life and yes jappinese people are sordof rich because thats were most of our tecnology comes friom but the trach people are fairly welthy. most of the m are verry old men in raggady clothes. and no they odnt make THAT much in a moth. maybe a year I don't know. but not a month.
