Does anyone ever feel like they are living in a dream?

Does anyone every feel like they are living in a dream?
sounds kind of weird huh?
It's like shinrinronin said that a lot of what happens in life isn't real
Like do you ever feel like things that go on in life isn't real..like a dream?

I know what you mean - I didn't even realize to what degree I was walking around generally in a fog much of the time until I entered training to be an air traffic controller - that required a complete turn-around into extreme awareness, which was a must to make it in that job.

I don't zone out a lot or anything like that, but sometimes expect something impossible, that a lot of what happens in life isn't real, and experience deja vu... So would those things count?

Everything you see is projected into your mind...just like dreams. Maybe life is just one big hallucination...

Yeah, it's like your not really doing what your doing.
Like it's a dream and it's not real.
You feel like everything is kind of gray and foggy.
Or.. at least that's how it is with me.

It's happened a lot since I was little.
Still does happen.

Sometimes it makes me think I'm going crazy.

Sometimes.. I almost like it.

I believe that all of are lives is a book Under contrustion! Personally I really do. Whatever seems to happen nexted is best on the writer. Sometimes it isnt want we want to hear or we dont want it to happend...But I believe that making mistakes and fixing them is the whole purpose to life...and believe it or not...I believe that we are,are own writers to our own books!

I don't know whether anything's real or not, untill I wake up. But once I was dreaming, and I drempt I woke up, so when I really woke up, I didn't know that it was real.

I always feel that way.
is it a disease? lack of something in the blood? lack of self finding?

You guys should really look into lucid dreaming. There are people out there that have a theory that there is an evil spirit/demon that is giving us the illusion of life by keeping us in a dream world like this. Where others believe that this life is to prepare us for the afterlife wich is going to be more like our dreams. They believe that into to stop the cycle of reincarnation you need to learn to control your dreams in this life so in the afterlife you'll notice that your dreaming and you can move past it. I just started to try and have lucid dreams and now I can remember may dreams in way more detail, but I still havent because lucid.
