Lip piercing

So Im thinking about geting my lip pierced with a stud. I was just wondering how the process works, what happens, what they use and how much pain comes with it. I had my ears done but that was years ago and didnt hurt at all.. so maybe im good with...

pain? lol

First she asked me where I wanted my piercing and then marked it with a marker. Then I used a little mouthwash, sat in a chair, and she asked me if I wanted it numbed. I said yes just in case I couldn't handle it and she sprayed my lip with some numbing spray. She clamped my lip and then took the needle and poked it through. I didn't feel anything but a small poke, but it was painless. After she poked the needle through, she put the stud in and gave me directions what to do and everything. And its just a small hole like an earing. I love my piercing and I want more but I'm not sure what to get. But yeah, hope I helped

Oh and also, some people don't have the option to numb it, it depends on the place you go and their rules etc.

oh okay, thanks! I hope where I go, I get the option to numb it, that spot might be a little more painful ..lol and just some ideas you could pierce- eyebrow, nose, monroe, tragus.. those are a few I wanan get anyway.lol

okay when your gonna get your lip pierced they use a needle of course but the stud

at the end because the needle goes in and the stud stays in it doesn't hurt your lip

just get's fat, you get nervous it's okay (^_^)

and your lip might feel numb but it's okay don't forget you can't eat chili or anything

that is spicy and try not to mess with it a lot and clean it for it won't get infected

( the needle is hollow thats how the stud fits)

the enlarged part is what they grab your lip with and the rest is what they use to

clean it with and pierce it with.

No problem lol and yeah the lip might be more painful or sensitive then the ear when getting pierced. My Mom thinks a monroe would look good on me but my friend has that and I dont' want the same as her lol. Thanks for the other ideas they sound like some possibilities :]
