Um, no. Learning a language isn't easy. It takes a lot of perseverance and time. The easiest way to LEARN a language is to go and spend a year in that country but it obviously wouldn't be the easiest thing to do.
well it depends on what you mean. A linguist doesnt actually have to speak multiple languages (I have done some linguistics and I only speak english and very bad japanese!), they have to know about certain aspects of language structure, for example some linguists specialise in the area of phonology (sound production and perception) while others are more interested in semantics (word meanings) I have studied sociolinguistics which I find fascinating. I dont find it very hard at all because its interesting and I enjoy studying it, even though im not exactly the best when it comes to studying in general.
If you mean you want to speak multiple languages, it is very difficult to learn languages post-childhood but it can be done, it just takes a lot of work! you really have to immerse urself as much as possible in the language.

Is there really...an easy way to become a linguist?
Thats what im shooting for...but...I know it will be hard.
