I like being by myself

I don't really know why I just like being by myself like I have a lot of cool friends but I much weather stay in my room all day listen to music,play on my 360,watch t.v then go out side or go to the mall with my friends I mean I have fun with them it is just that after a while I just feel like I need to get away why is that?

its a psychological reason really, you feel safer when you are by yourself because you can think and do things more freely. its not strange or weird (in my view) you just like doing it. it would be a problem if you were all the time by yourself refusing to go out or otherwise mingle with people.
