Wash all their bed sheets, pillows, bed skirts, in the hottest setting you can without ruining them, dry them, wash them again, dry them. (while you're doing that...) some stores have lice powder that you can put on the carpets (not the mattress!) and vacuum that up. Dump out the contents of the vacuum cleaner after each room. I've also heard that if you spritz vinegar and water on soft surfaces that that bothers lice enough to get them to come out, hence making them easier to vacuum (but I've never tried that method). All stuffed animals need to be washed, dried, and put in plastic bags for 2 weeks. Vacuum your couch, wash the couch pillows, and if you can remove the cushion covers, wash them. Vacuum several times a day. It's simply not going to be taken care of right away- it's an long battle, but it's doable. Eventually you'll get rid of them. happy
