Lhc doomsday device

does anybody know about the 10th september doomsday, 'cause it's been going around at school today, and I'm starting to get concerned. I've done some research on it but so far have made no sense. if anybody knows anyhting ANYTHING about it, could they...

please answer this question. I'm getting rather worried. :[

We've had a few questions about it already. It's a large scale linear accelerator...a device to replicate conditions of the universe shortly after the big bang, 14 billion years ago, to learn more about how the universe was formed.
