Lg rumor attempting to put music on it-- help

I got music to my micro sd card but when I put it in the phone shows empty how do I get it to show?

try changing the format of the music to .mp3 or .mp4 ! or try adding different types of music by clicking and dropping it into the folder of your sd card.. You might also have to angle the usb differently if your comp is as screwed as mine.
