no, I'm sitting here thinking that I really should be doing my work. but I can't be bothered, I've lost all motivation. I think it's because I know I have so much to do that I am not sure if I am going to get it achieved...plus I've nearly finished this first year and I'm EXHAUSTED! plus I need glasses and my eyes get really tired...and I really can't be arsed to do research on child abuse cases...they're all very morbid, and I keep getting distracted by the stories...
so no deep thinking, don't think it could be further from it...I should be deep thinking then I wouldn't be bl00dy procrastinating on funadvice!
yea some one just told me how addicting this is and it IS! lol. I been on here my whole last 3 work days. but the difference is-I dont have any work to do. my boss is out of town. lol. child abuse sucks and of course your getting sucked into the stories. its human nature to be compassionate.
PARTICIPATION PEOPLE! im bored over here! lol.
I find them horrifying and unbelievable, that biological parents can do some of these awful things to their, often, babies.
and as for work, urghhh, I'm really struggling, I have so much to do! my kids don't give me ANY peace, and when they do, I'm about ready for bed too, so I live on red bull - and I'm talking 2ltrs a day! and my mums been really ill, and the hospital were being w4nkers, I was like, don't try and fob me off, I work in a damn hospital you get her an MRI and CT scan NOW! because my dad has no idea how hospitals run...
I don't know where you live, but it looks a whole lot nicer than brighton, in the south of england...roll on my training when I can emmergrate
I think the most worst thing I have ever read was the book, 'a child called it' I cried. a lot!
who worte this book. and hosp. def. suck. I live in good ol' moore, oklahoma. nothing interesting here. I guess the sun was shining in makin it look nice. lol. just you know cowboys and indians over here. just kidding just kidding.
Dave Pelzer. It's a true story about him. It will make you cry. so don't read it if you can't handle hearing about severe child abuse.
yee-ha!!! I like cowboys ;O) and I want to emmergrate to america...swoon...
and I read a child called it in 4 hours, compelling book, I brought it in the morning, took it home, when I went to pick my little one up from nursery, I was like 'want to read this, I brought it today' they were like 'don't you want to read it first?' I said, read it, you have to ! dave peltzer...
horrible horrible story, I wasn't over keen on the next two though...
and I did cry, especially when he said about his baby brother used to be the only one that treated him normally...
well ill have to check it out. like I said I have a lot of free time here at work. lol. I can handle gruesome and stuff but I have an IUD for birth control and ever since then I have just been so emotional. lol. plus im bi-polar and the 2 def. dont mix!
There are parts in the book that will make you SOB!!! I read it in a short amount of time also. Once you pick it up, it is hard to put down. You just get into it. You ask yourself throughout the whole book, 'How can a mother do this to her child?'
(don't take offence at anything I say, I only ever mean it as 'friend' humour!)
but I have been saying my little boy acts like he has bipolr - honestly - he's like up one minute and down the next...he's going through puberty, and he's either in tears or having a complete kevin and perry strop lol!
it's a nghtmare god damn it!!!
oooh I had the coil once, never again! it made me ill lol! I actually fainted when they put it in, she was lie' you've gone very pale' and I was like' whooo' bumph on the floor lol!
yeah thinking about finishing school!
