Hi there,

I am in love with my best friend. we talk about everything and one thing he stresses is no sex before 18. Like he seriously won't do it and he tells me not to either. Lately we've been fooling around...and we were talking about once we're 18 we might do it with eachother...but thats a little while from now.

I just wanted to know:
1) how do you get it started, like sex, how can you make it less painful.
2) what are the odds of a condom working, like will it break?
3) do I need to take the pill, cause I dont want to cause my parents will find out.

please help, thank you.

He has good reasons for waiting untill 18.

First of all you are then a legal adult and can make decisions on your own.

1) To make sex less painful he will need to 'stretch' you. That is finger you, or use a dildo to wear away your hymen which is what makes sex painful the first few times. You can do this on your own too. (mas*urba*e)

2) A condom works about 88% of the time. That is it has a 12% failure rate. I personally have had two condom breaks. I don't find condoms a reliable form of birth control but only a prevention for STDS.

3) Once you are 18 you can get the pill without your parents.
