Well, after a brief research session (about 30 seconds...lol...I'm quick about it) I've come to find that lemon does the trick the best.
One statement I saw was a nifty idea: put lemon juice (any kind like fresh squeezed or from the little bottles) and put it into a spray bottle then spray it onto the areas you want to lighten and sit in the sun for about and hour or so. Repeat a couple of times and you should be good to go!

Lemon juice works as one of the most popular home remedies for bleaching your hair. Mix 2 tbsp juice with approximately 6 tbsp water and rub it in to your dry hair. After a couple of hours, give your hair a thorough rinse.
