Yes, in most countries it is 16 (in some even older or younger), if an adult has sex with someone under that age then it is immediately considered statutory rape.

Of COURSE it is true that nearly every country has a legal age limit for sex.

Here in Britain it is 16 but in some countries is goes as low as 13.

in texas I think it's legal for every1 to have sex.but if your under 17 and the person you had sex with is three years older than you then its rape

I think you will find that even in Texas, they will have a minimum age limit.
