Why are my tree's leaves yellowing?

I have a royal empress tree and all of a sudden the leaves are turning a pale yellow with dark b rown all around the edges. What am I doing wrong?

maybe its just that time of year has this happened before or maybe you need to water it

for two and a half months each year god kills off all of the caterpillars which are the thing that makes the leaves green (from their spit). without catter. spit, the leaves turn yellow and ect.

Alright.. god does not kill off caterpillars. Think about that logically.. that makes absolutely NO sense. Temperatures are dropping, so it's possible that it's going into hibernation like many plants outside. Do you keep it indoors or outside? If it's inside.. does it get the right amount of sunlight daily? Perhaps you're over-watering it.
