Asked by sandy25 5 months ago, 8 answers.

Does the law of attraction really work? Do we really get whatever we wish in our life?

I think in some cases its true. Depends on how dedicated you are to it. I read a book by Dale Carnagie I think it is, the title is How to influence people, and win friends over. After reading that my outlook on life had changed dramatically, I have done a lot based on those principles but it also takes a lot of gumption.

No. It's all new-age mumbo jumbo and cognitive bias. Note that practically everyone well-known for something worked to get there. Not a coincidence.

That's pretty much exactly what The Secret and similar nonsense claim.

And if it requires work, isn't it simpler and more sensible to assume that it was the _work_ that did it, rather than some untestable 'law of attraction'?

yes you get what you want, as long as your ACTIONS are for that cause and you stay committed to it.

That's called reality. If I want lots of money, and I spend all my time earning money, lo and behold, I get money. Nothing mystical about it.
