Laundry detergent

Horse Asked by prettysoutherngal 10 months ago, 5 answers.

Which do you prefer? Liquid or powder. Me, I like the liquid. Powders like to clump up in the washer. I prefer ALL detergent, but will by purex, I have a maytag neptune brand of washer and dryer and it calls for the kinda expensive stuff. Also...

since I am on this type of subject do you prefer liquid fabric softner or dryer sheets. Downey has my vote on that one.

Powder - liquid detergent leaves residue on your clothes - you can see it in the black light. Especially on blue jeans - if you use liquid and you poured it on your jeans in the washing machine - when you go out to a club - you can see the lines where you poured it.

I prefer liquid.

Powders eventually clog up the machine and often leave chunks on your clothes.

Seeing as I don't go to clubs, though, I guess I'm safe from mandyloo's evil black light, lol

Haha, I guess that's the only reason I dont like liquid. I just remember going into clubs with lines on my jeans glowing from the liquid detergent. I haven't used it since.

I use liquid detergent and fabric sheets.

Mandyloo, to avoid the detergent soaking into your clothing, just wait until there are a few inches of water in the machine to put the detergent in. Then put the clothes in.

I like the liquid. I guess since I can't see, I'm lucky I don't see the lines on my clothes.
But then, powder would be easier for me to use if I had it since its hard for me to pour the liquid. I love the liquid fabric softener. Downey also gets my vote. I like Tide laundry detergent. Then, I like to use Extra. I guess a little bit of both detergents would work. I really don't have a preference except for the fabric softener.
