Lg truesteam washer and dryer

the lid and put it in. Can you do that with the washer/dryer Im looking at getting?? There is a pause button on it but I know it locks.?? Any advice? Should I stick with the one I have and just get a newer version?? I have to get something because mine leaks really bad. Please Help! Im doing a load right now and my house could get flooded! I have a front loader, Kenmore, and mine doesn't unlock until the cycle is complete. I checked the LG website, and the lock can not be unlocked while the heat from the steam is high, or the water level is above the door opening. So I'd just make a walk through the house before starting a load.

On a side note, consumer reports says that there isn't any noticeable proof that having the steam feature in your washer cleans your clothes any better.
