Crazy ? No way...Latin is cool...
... the new testament was translated into latin from greek...so you could use both of your skills in one project by taking a critical approach to the subject regarding what you agree with and what you would have done differently.
In actual fact other greek works were also translated into latin long before they were translated into english . The list is too long to go into here but in any case with your double skills it seems like you are on to a winner !
The New Testament seems, quite honestly, to be a bit easy. I was hoping for more intricate grammatical constructions and use of locution, figures of speech. Thanks for the recommendation though, it is indeed easily found in full on the internet. I'll give it a go when I'm up for it :D
Unfortunately, I kind of lost interest in Greek, I just stopped caring!

Latin texts?

Latin texts?
I recently finished high school (Latin Ancient Greek as main courses) and I'm not going to pursue either of these courses in my future education, but I would like to keep my interest in Latin alive by translating texts. Does anyone have any...
recommendations or know of any way to acquire texts with some vocabulary and grammatical notes, like the ones used in education, but for free? I would rather hear of some free alternatives, than buying course books that contain only certain excerpts of Latin works.
I'd appreciate a lack of comments about how crazy I am for wanting to do this
