Laptop problem?

Why won't my laptop charge the battery?
I mean when I plug it in the ac power it's just running on that but when it's not connected the battery keeps dropping but I don't know why it won't charge the battery so any help?Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this prob?

Sounds like the battery is dead.About all you can do is take it to a shop and have it checked out.

The Connection with your batter and AC power could be Bad like the connection between that and the laptop... also batters that have lithium in them have a type of memory that if you charge it when its not all the way out of power it will think when you plug it in that it was out so you will also loose battery time if you dont let it run all the way out ... but replaceing that batter is never a bad thing so I would either do that or get it checked out.
