Laptop help.

So I just tried turning on my laptop, but when it comes on the screen is staying black and it does not sound like it's booting up, it's silent. Only the lights are coming on, I have no clue what's wrong with it. Anyone have any ideas?

OMG that happens to me 2!!! what kinda of comp is it??? I have an Acer.

my computer did this once. some kind of file was deleted on it. the main file or something. we had to completely start our computer over and reload everything back onto it using the set up disk. I don't know if this is what your computer is doing, but sounds kinda like it.

I'd blame Windows.

Do you usually hold down the power button until something pops up onto the screen? If nothing happens after doing that, you should probably get it checked out by a computer expert. Something like that happened to my other laptop not too long ago and it was un-repairable, because they said something about the circuit-board. I had to get a new one (which I'm using right now). Hopefully though, you'll be luckier than me.

happened to me too I was like argh s**t...but I kept it off for few hours well like a day and then it worked agen

if you have a double sided usb cable plug your computer into another computer while its on and look around on the files of the one that that isnt working
