how come my laptop keeps shutting down by itself and then restarts, but before it shuts down, it saves all my work, but im really worried, because 2 days ago, it happend like 5 times in a day! some say its caused by virus, but I have an anti virus, an...

Are you sure that your laptop is not just downloading windows updates and then restarting on its own? Because it does that unless you manually postpone the pop-up countdown to when it'll restart.

Each anti-virus is different. They will not allpick up all viruses.
Could be some other form of unwanted nasties. I use Spybot Search + Destroy, and Avast Antivirus. They work good and are free.
I would be surprised if it wasnt a virus or some form of unwanted nasty.

If you recently have windows service pack three, Restore your computer to before that time. Pack 3 causes all kinds of problems for a lot of people who download it. Other than that your windows xp has broken internally, ( Meaning you need to reinstall at as a clean install or repair it. ) Or it is a virus. Other than those three I have no clue what it is. But leave the reinstall for a last resort...
