Yes male cats do...I'm sure the male kittens do as well, but I am not sure of how early they start. You know if you go to your local vet there are forms you can fill out to get major discounts on getting your pets fixed...sometimes (depending how much you or your dad make a year) you can even get it done for free. Then you wouldn't have to worry about them spraying. Good luck! I hope this helps...: / I love kitties

I don't think they are going to 'spray' yet...they are awfully young, and 'spraying' is a territorial act of a mature cat. If you get them neutered they won't NEED to be territorial...

not yet! god, you don't pop out the womb in puberty, do you?

gather some evidence to support your argument with your dad, and say, look they start spraying then...and I have already booked the vet appointment to get them 'done'...

also, even when they are 'done' they can still spray when a female cat is in the vacinity and he can smell her, it's just less pronounced...my male cat sprays all the damn time when my girly cat is in heat - he just hasn't got the goods for the job anymore lol!

in addition, it's your parents home, you have to respect that. if he wants them kept inside the garage until they're done, there's not much you can do.

as I say, gather evidence to support your 'free kitty cause' and good luck!

I agree with phrannie... they are probably too young to spray... just make sure to get them neutered as soon as they are old enough or they will.
