wow so many numbers I'm confused!

so your cat had kittens and they're 2 and a half weeks old? to be honest, they're not like humans (who we tend to get into a 'feeding pattern') they feed as and when they want to. get kitten milk, the mother is unlikely to assosiate herself with the babies now, so it's up to you mama-lilpoofle! get set for at least a couple of weeks of training lol!

bless, first time animal mums...it can be hard on them...

however, I would advise, since the mums not fussed about them, taking them to a quick once over at the vets asap...just give them milk off a syringe in the meantime...try and be v close to them so when they have their children they have a slighty better understanding of what to do with their babies..

but VET VET VET!!!

There are these places that spade/neuter cats and give them their shots cheap... you might want to try one of those places... just search online...

Spay is the name of it..not spade. And yes, do it.

Now for the kittens, if they have an eye infection they probably have upper respiratory infection too. At that age they should have about .05 CC of Clavamox 2 times a day. Also some ointment for their eyes. A vet needs to prescribe both.

For the feeding get some KMR powder. Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water, every 2 hours. Feed them in rotation so they can get breaks. Then don't forget to stimulate their anus and genital area with a damp washcloth. They will otherwise not urinate or poop and can die.

Taking care of such young kittens is hard work but you will do fine. Follow editor's advice and see a vet for the needed medications.
And please, HAVE YOUR CAT SPAYED!!!

contact your local animal shelter, explain the situation. they might moan at you a bit...buy they normally have programmes for people who have animals, but can't afford treatment...

but yes, get ger spayed...sounds like mother hood isn't gpoing to be a loss to her. also cats can get pregnant as quick as 7 days after birth...tell her to stop being a dirty little stop out and keep her tail between her legs lol! ;op

Actually, most if not all spay/neuter clinics and Humane Societies will spay a pregnant dog. They automatically do the abortion, it's very common. With between 4 and 6 million animals being put to sleep every year due to overpopulation, it's a good way to combat more unwanted cats in the world.
