Haha this is me from the summer Asked by i_rock43 over 2 years ago, 10 answers.

What is the normal age to be kissed by... cause I haven't been kissed and I am 13. I don't want all my friends to be experienced when I'm not.

My mom also wont let me date until I am 15 or 16...um...what should I do??

Casual kissing like on the cheek is appropriate to show appreciation for a gift of as a greeting or parting with close friends. Kissing to make out is more intentional and has underlying sexual expectations. Your Mom is protecting you from hurt and disappointment that teen romances frequently end up in. Take your time. Honor your Mother and her wishes. Talk with her about your feelings and develop a friendship with her that is based on trust and honesty. It will pay great dividends in the years to come. Besides that, all that sloppy kissin stuff is a waste anyway. Have a great life. Enjoy being what you are as you are and people will respect and admire you for what you are becoming.

OK, First of all i have to tell you i am 14, (will be 15 in july) but anyways, i have kissed on the lips with a guy before, but i have never made-out, and i am in the same situation as you are with the dating, I live with my dad and he can be pretty strict sometimes (cant blame him i am his only child) but anyways, I dont really look at it in a way as in I am missing out on something, now i think of it as a way, in which i am waiting untill i really like someone, and just to tell you something else real quick, i have a cousin, and we are really tight, anyways, yea i asked her about it when i was 13 and she was 17, and she said that she didnt get her first make-out kiss untill she was 16, and it was at her bithday party, so, i wouldnt really worry about it, you arent the only one!

I HOPE THIS HELPS

I, personally, waited a looong time to kiss a guy, because I just did not want it to be awkward. I think in middle school and even freshman to sophomore year in high school usually people are still in their awkward stages and kissing will obviously be incredibly awkward. I hold the record: I kissed a guy at 18. But it wasn't awkward at ALL, and we progressed to making out and it was fine.
Just don't kiss a guy just to kiss him. Make sure it means something!

I didn't have my first kiss until I was 15, don't rush things, and I haven't even made out with anyone yet, its just been kisses on the lips and cheek

I had my first kiss at the age of 12. If someone has graduated high school, going into college without kissing, well that's kinda pathetic. I read something in TIME magazine were there was a poll about kissing. The normal age was 14. There was also another one that said strange to be kissed by what age, and the vote landed on 18. So just go for it. Get the experience. : P LIVE YOUR LIFE
