Is it normal to not want to kiss in public?

is it normal to not want to kiss my boyfriend in front of other people? it's mostly my family. I mean, we go to different schools so we're hardly ever around each other's friends. but still, is that normal. (btw, we've known each other for 9 years and have been dating for 5 months)

I am the same way. I can not stand to kiss in front of family members. It makes me uncomfortable. I dont mind in front of our friends but NO family. Lol. So I think you are normal because I feel normal. Hope I helped. God Bless!!

I agree w/susanfullofadvice, it is also a little disrespectful to be kiss in front of them, sometimes a peck is okay though.

thanks guys. I just wasn't sure because a lot of people are like, 'well, if you can't kiss them in front of your family, then you don't really like them' so yeah, I was confused. lol.
