What if I want a kid and he doesn't?

hey everyone I am nearly 17 but I just think I am ready for a child..
but my boyfriend refuses to give me one..
only because he has an apprenticeship..
what should I do??

you should get over it. first of all you're way to young. and don't give me a bunch of BS saying you're mature and old enough to take responsibility, because obviously you're not. and second of all he just can't GIVE you a baby. it takes two to tango. it would be his baby too. if he doesn't want a baby in his life then get over it. don't force him into something that he doesn't want to do.

you're 17 and want a kid? do you know how much your life is going to be put on hold? I'm sure this is a phase and it'll pass. You may think you can handle a kid, but you may realize it's kinda hard.

I'm just going to give you this baby here... it just doesn't work like that, and you should think, even if you're ready (not that you are), about whether he's ready. He probably doesn't want to spent 18 years parenting a child at this point in time.
