Why wont the fob unlock the car now?

I changed the battery in my key fob and now the fob wont unlock the car or work the alarm its an mitsubishi l200 does anyone know what I need to do many thanks

Call the mitsubishi dealer in your area...Sometimes they have to be reset because of the alarm...so I have been told anyway.

Perhaps the remote needs reprogramming. Those fobs aren't the best thing to use.. There are people that sit in cars and have equipment that they use to pick up the signals of those remotes, and then they can themselves send the signals to lock/unlock the car so they can take your stuff.
