Just wondering

I was wondering something. Lets say you're in a hurry, and you have to get off the computer really fast. And you're on FunAdvice. You're in such a big hurry that you dont log out. Sooo, the big Q is...Does it still appear to everyone else that you're...

online when you're actually not?! But its not like I do this or anything...

if you shut down your internet and everything, like close it all out then it might sign out automatically...

I accidently do that ALL the time...im pretty sure everyone still thinks your online b/c when I came back on theres comments like hey which people wouldnt really ask if they knew you were off

Yes it does. I have to stay logged in 24/7 because I'm using a Blackberry and because it doesn't have java-script my phone is not supported. Although they have been working on it I was somehow logged out and WAS able to sign back in.

Yes. That goes for any website that you might be on. If you don't log off or shut your computer off, you will be still signed on. I hope that this answered your question.

I may be wrong, but I believe that if you close your browser without logging off from Fun Advice, that after a certain time Fun Advice would no longer show you as being online.

The fact that when you come back onto Fun Advice that it may say that you are still Logged on is because you have a cookie on your computer that automatically logs you on when you reconnect to Fun Advice.
