Why are so many teens worried about pregnancy?

Am I the only one here sick of seeing questions from teens and preteens about wanting to be pregnant or having a possible pregnancy??
Again I am putting my apology in advance, but where is the lapse of education?

This kind of confusion used to be cute, but then preteens today actually have sex.

Could probably track back to lack of parental guidance, absence of education, and respect for oneself.

It sounds harsh, but it just looks like these teens just aren't using their brains. I've scrolled through a whole heap of posts on this site, and the number of times I've felt like screaming JUST GO SEE A DOCTOR! is phenomenal. I'm just shocked at how many people aren't using protection- I mean, some kids are worried about getting pregnant, but why are they not so worried about getting an STD? Plus, if you've had a pregnancy scare before, I would think you'd keep it in mind and be a bit more careful next time! Cheers soldiersprincess for putting the question out there!

when I was a senior in high school, I did com. service as a class, basically to get out of the high school the last two periods of the day and make myself feel like I was doing something worth-while instead of sitting in blow-off classes...I volunteered at my old elementary school in the classroom of my 5th grade teacher...she told me that an 11 year old 6th grader got pregnant and had a baby...6th grade...she said she would bring in the sono pictures and say look at my baby all proud of herself...where the hell were her parents when their 11 year old was out getting knocked up? that's absolutely horrifying to me...
