What does "just kicking it" mean?

WHEN A GUY TELLS YOU THAT YOU AND HIM are JUST KICKING IT WHUT DOESE THIS MEAN! COME ON GUYS PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS ONE! WHUT DOESE THE WORD JUST KICKING IT MEAN WHEN ITS COMING FROM A GUY POINT OF VIEW!

I would assume that would mean he doesn't want to get serious, and just wants to be friends and hang out. At least, that's my interpretation.

Look, lets just be real. He is NOT into you like that, at this time, atlest. If you keep the " just kicking it status" he will never want you in any other way but that one. You have to break the current relationship for it to go anywhere else. But note to self, once you do that, you may not see him in the same light anymore. Therefore going on about your business and seeking someone that would be a little more interested in you. Verse just kicking it.
