How can I stop my junk food habit?

I need to lose weight fast and I am out of ideas.......I am a dancer so I have a lot of muscle but I need to lose weight! I just cant stop from eating unhealthy food. Anyone have ideas to stop me from eating junk?

THIS IS HOW I DID IT!
TAKE ALL THE JUNK OUT OF YOUR HOUSE OR WHERE EVER YOU KEEP IT GET HELTTHY BUT TASTY FOODS YOU LIKE,
EVEN IF YOU ARNT HAPPY WITH EATING HEALTHY IT WILL HELP YOU IN THE LONG RUN MY DAD ALEAYS TOLD ME (WHAT YOU EAT NOW IS WHAT YOU WILL ''BE'' IN THE FUTUER) WIZE WORDS ITSA TRUE BE TRUE TO YOUR SELF BUT HAPPY IN YOUR BODY ASWELL!=]

Honestly it's not about your weight becasue especially with wemon your weight ranges from 1 up to 10 pounds on a daily bacis! If your going to worry bout anything it sould be your body fat! And if your having trouble with junk food just Limit youself to only a certain amount in a month!!!

If you are a dancer don't stop eating just eat smaller portions and exersice or if you like junk food so much get up at 3:00 in the morning and eat junk food then exercise until you go to work or school.

Bluechic9 is right. A woman who wears a size 8 can actually weigh more than a woman who wears a size 12 if she has more muscle mass. It's pointless to obsess over on number on the scale, because like Bluechic9 said, it can fluctuate depending on things like how heavy your clothes are, how much food is in your stomach, how hydrated you are etc. If you actually have too much body fat, here are my tips for weight loss:
* Avoid fad diets because they generally don't work and can be time-consuming and difficult to follow.Besides it's not about "diets" period, it's about a change in life-style.
* It's great that you're a dancer. Not only does it keep you fit, but it's fun too, keep it up.
* Junk food (aka sugar) is an addiction, and like most addictions, is difficult to cut cold-turkey. You need to face this like a smoker would and cut back little by little.
* The average time a craving lasts is 15 minutes, so the best thing to do when you feel a craving coming on is engage yourself in another activity for those 15 minutes and stay strong, it'll soon pass.
* Often when you feel hungry, you're actually thirsty, so when you feel your stomach rumble, drink a big glass of ice, cold water. If you're still hungry after that, have a fruit or something.
*Do not under any circumstance buy junk food, this is when that old saying, " out of site, out of mind" comes into play.
* Do not fo grocery shopping hungry, you'll be more likely to cave and buy that jumbo chocolate bar.
* Chewing sugar-free gum is a great way to satisfy your sweet-tooth but still stick to your healthy-eating pattern. Or you could this low-cal, candy that's sugar free ( I'm pretty sure). You can get it at most grocery stores.
* Try sweetening baked goods, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee etc with splenda instead of normal sugar.
* The nest time you see yourself reaching for the bag of chips, imagine yourself at 400lbs, hooked up to a breathing machine after a massive hear-attack that could've taken your life. Or even better, imagine your family standing at your graveside, balling their eyes out because you died of cancer brought on by all the junk food.
*work on changing your thinking about food. Instead of seeing junk food as a reward or some kind of comfort, ask yourself this question each time before you eat, "Will this food create health or destroy it?"
*When you crave junk food, take a look at what else is going on in your life at the moment. Are you feeling lonely or tired? Are you angry or resentful? What are you feeling? Sounds to me like you could be an emotional eater, if you identify what mood you're generally in when you crave junkfood, it can help you in the future.
When you do have your occassional treat, eat it slowly. Savor it. Hold it in your mouth. Notice the flavor, temperature and texture. Eat like this is the last time you will ever have this food and you are trying to imprint the experience in your memory. This is mindful eating.
*Eat to live, don't live to eat....
