Judgment

Me surfing in Oahu Asked by oceanh3ro 12 months ago, 8 answers.

I've been wanting to ask this, I love God I will not deny Him, and I cant wait till He comes back for us, I believed He died for me and rose again... I hate judging people, and im not perfect, I would not, not be friends with them if they didnt believe...

the same things that I do, I would treat them like I would want to be treated, (people say christains are the ones mostly to push there believes in other peoples faces)(im just saying thats what I heard, I dont know if its true) but im not like that at all I know there are alota christains out there that are not, so what im asking is why do some people not want to be my friend just because I believe what I believe?... and no im not saying everyone just some, so please dont take a offence

well the bible says have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,come out from among them and be seperate touch not the unclean and I will receave you.light has nothing in common with darkness I do not think you are wrong for surrounding yourself with other christians,and I would not suggest hanging around ungodly people ,when you are trying to grow and do what is pleasing in his sight we are to love everyone and not to judge but to allow the love of christ to be shown in our everyday life the way you live can lead others to want to come to christ there for you are in the world and not of this world live as such

I don't know. Maybe they feel strongly about their religion, just as you do. But some people take offense to what religion and whatnot people believe in.

girl, EVERYBODY BELIEVES IN DIFFERENT THINGS, SO you REALLY SHOULDN'T BE BELIEVEING ANYTHING BUT your CHURCH, your HEART, AND MOST OF ALL, THE BIBLE.

ME, I don't JUDGE PEOPLE, SO WHETHER THEY'RE CHRISTIAN, OR HYPOCRITICAL, I don't CARE. SOMETIMES, I don't LIKE 2 HANG AROUND PEOPLE WHO don't BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT THAT'S JUST THEM, AND I CAN'T CHANGE THAT.I ALSO CAN'T MAKE THEM BELIEVE IN what I DO AND THEY don't.BUT what I CAN DO IS STAY THE PERSON THAT I AM, AND KEEP BELIEVING IN what I BELIEVE IN.

NOW, THE REASON 4 PEOPLE NOT LIKING you BECAUSE you R CHRISTIAN, IS PROBABLY because THEY WERE TAUGHT AND RAISED 3 ONLY HANG AROUND AND BE AROUND THEIR RELIGION. BASICALLY, ITS NO DIFFERENT THEN RACISM. IT MAY BE THE PERSON MAKING THE DECISION NOT 2 HANG AROUND you because your CHRISTIAN, OR IT COULD BE THE PARENTS{THEY MAY THINK THE CHILD WILL TURN INTO A CHRISTIAN!!!

IS THAT GOOD ENOUGH?{EVEN THOUGH IT'S LONG?}

I don't think one should push religion on, just as you said. But I also am not liking the idea of only being friends with Christians or whatever.

Religion doesn't matter to me when it come to friendship as long as there not all you have to convert. My best friend at work is a Mormon and I'm Wiccan. We get along just fine

I also agree with Jester_x. Unless someone is shoving there religion in you're face (which you are not) then I would not want to be friends with whoever that is.Yes, like jester, I am a wiccan becoming and I have Wiccan friends but I also have, Catholic, Methodist, Christin, Buddhist,Mormon, and Hindu friends as well.
Hope this helped.

*** why do some people not want to be my friend just because I believe what I believe?

...probably because of bad experiences with other Christians who were pushy with their religion.
