Sprints, elliptical, stair-climbing, etc.
I find this makes me faster but its kinda illegal what you do is run up escaladers that are going down. it builds up your muscells like the sh*t
The escalator idea is cool, but basically does the same thing as a stairmaster or just climbing stairs. I don't think jogging will make you faster. It will make you more fit, but not faster. It's all really in how you're built... someone with a short torso and long legs is more likely to be faster than someone who has short legs. It's mainly genetics I think. If you want to be faster over longer distances, I would say run for longer at a time, really focusing on controlling your upper body. You can run for greater distances if you keep your upper body still, and control your breathing. So, if you can control your body for longer distances, chances are you'll be faster than other people who don't know how to control their bodies.
Jogging is actually not good for you believe it or not. It is good for your heart/cardio but it is awful for your knees and back. If you want to become a faster runner... eat right.. lots of proteins.. and most of all run, run, run, then run some more.
Jogging everyday is good for you. It'll make you run faster, long distance, and build good stamina. But if you want to run faster in short distance do sprints and lift weights. Squats, Leg Press, Calf Raises are the three best exercise for that. If you're really serious about it, check out Air Alert program. Just type it in google.
jogging will improve your overall fitness. Your speed may improve a bit because you loose weight or improve form.
To build speed do sprints and interval training.
practice makes perfect lol x
yes it will make you a faster runner because it will build endurance to allow you to run longer distances and faster shorter distances
work on your techinque of running dont put put your hands in a tight fist
tata
If you're going to jog, the key is to do it cross-country style. Stay off the paved areas, the impact on concrete surfaces it whats bad for your joints.
if its your speed you want to get up, stamina has a lot to do with it, taking 30 second sprints can be better than running 1 minutes straight
No jogging wont get you faster because your going at the same pace the whole run which with jogging it would prob be slow. I suggest fartlek runs where you go from a fast pace for about 1 min. and then jog 2 mins. keeping both fast twitch and slow twitch muscles involved.
