Wal Mart ( :D )

Uhm, check out your local job centre, they can help you search their databases that will atke people with felonies. Normally, depending upon the job, people will accept felons, but only depending upon the seriousness of the conviction.

You might try getting a paralegal degree online. I have been a legal secretary for years and most law firms, especially the smaller ones, do not conduct criminal background checks. I have struggled with a drinking problem for years and have several public intoxication charges and about 3 DWI's; I am lucky, as I don't carry a felony record, but still, they look at misdemeanors the same way. I was unable to get a real estate license because of numerous misdemeanors.

The system is not supporting rehabilitation, as far as what I can see.

Try the law firm route, and good luck!
