Hi!

To find companies hiring felons in your area, go to http://ww.government... and find your local employment office.

They should be able to put you on the right track to finding a job. I've also heard that United Way and the Salvation Army will employ those with felony records.

Good luck!

If they have Unions in AZ you might try getting into a Union. They didn't check criminal backgrounds when I got in but I don't know how it works now. (I.e. since 9-11) In todays economic situation the best security you can have is to learn a trade and do something that can't be outsourced or insourced. I call it "insourced" when they bring in illegals who will work for low wages. Most hands on type jobs can't be outsourced, e.g. carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, nurses, (yes males can be nurses too) etc. etc. Truck drivers are in a shortage right now but I don't see it as a very good job always on the road and away from home. Good luck to ya and nice picture of the family.

learn a trade or get a cdl. once you get a class a cdl you can drive anything! also if you got a none violent felony conviction join a group and start fighting for your basic right to work and provide for your family. It is time we stood up for ourselves. Ok people who did violent crimes. I feel for ya but society doesn't forgive easily.
