Having money is awesome... but I think you should go with football.
If your parents are okay with you not getting a job right now and focusing on sports, then go for it. I didn't get a job till Grade.12 and my parents were completely fine with that.

do you already have the job? regardless if you do or dont, I suggest you go with football. you get exercise, have something to do, and it can go on a college application later. I'm going into high school this year too, and I;m going to focus on extra-curicular activites so it can help me later. you can always get a job after football season or when you have more time, but if you pass up on football, you cant change your mind.

I would go with football all the way, you can always get a job after the season is over, you know work in between seasons. Football is worth it I played it for all 4 years of highschool.

I'm a sophomore, and I faced a similar problem between a job and a sport. the best advice I got was to live out your freshman year. it's a new year with new experiences and it's better to adjust this year and play a sport to meet new people. get a job next year, when you have a good idea of the amount of work school gives and how football takes up time.

get a job during the off season that will work around your workout schedule because in high school you'll have such a better time if you get involved, especially in sports that you love. work in the off season and save up enough to get you through when you'll have two-a-days and games all the time. it will be worth it
