I have never understood the appeal of skinny jeans. Unless you are really skinny yourself they just look weird I think. I tried them on and because I have wide hips and skinny calves, my bottom half looked like...un upside-down triangle...yea not a good look. I used to wear low rise jeans but I was always tugging at them to try and avoid my butt/underwear showing. So I like slightly higher ones that are bootcut (to balance out those hips of mine). I like dark denim too cause it's more flattering happy
