Jealousy
Hi there! I have been dating my boyfriend for almost over a year. When we are happy, it's amazing. He's a great guy. I'm convinced that he loves me. I love him as well.
There's a ongoing theme of jealousy in the background. He used to be jealous when...
I used to talk about or hang out with other guys, but he's reassured me that he no longer has ANY feelings like that any longer.
The opposite with me; I could care less that he hung out with girls before-- now I'm going mad wondering if he likes them more than just friends. I'm really uncomfortable when he goes out/visits with a close female friend of ours. I can't help but feel threatened. I've told him several times how it makes me feel, but he continously reassures and gets a angry that I'd "check up on him."
What can I do in order to get over or ignore these pangs of envy?
