January software upgrade

... so I have an older iTouch, 16 GB.. I went on the site to look up that new software upgrade. Yes it's $20 I know.. but it takes me to my iTunes, when I scroll down and hit OK it just takes me to the iTunes Store homepage... never actually bought or downloaded anything.

Can someone help me figure out how to ACTUALLY get this new software upgrade on my iTouch? Oh, and my software and Itunes is all completely up to date so that's not an issue...

I would try downloading the software upgrade on a 3rd party site. maybe from a torrent site or something? a few months ago I was trying to find a very elusive song and iTunes had it, but when I scrolled down like you to buy it, it took me to the store homepage. So I tried again and again. On my bill I had 13 charges for the same song, but I never got one copy. iTunes refused to pay me back either. anyway, thats my story and thats why I stay away from it. so my advice is to try to find it elsewhere.
