I've loved my cousin for 4 years

So my cousin and I have been having sex for about 12 years and managed to keep it a secrete from every 1 now about 4 years ago we said the I love you thing after that its been good and bad he's far away from me so we don't get to see each other that often but we talk every night like 3 or 4 hours a night most of it is phone sex he seems to enjoy I more than me but as long as he's happy that's all that matters to me.so he's told me that he wants to marry me and have a baby and for those that are going to say it will come out retarted NO IT WON'T I've done research blast me that I'm wrong and sick but not that I'm dumb anyhow I know its wrong what I'm doing I know but I can't help that I have fallen inlove with this man we always talk about just living together and move away from all the family and just live as husband and wife but it would kill me to be away from my family I love them too. Many places allow first cousin marriages...however, you are not allowed to have children. I am not sure where you got your research but children married into the same bloodline are at high risk for many disabilities. The common one is blindness and mental disabilities. Society frowns on these types of relationships and because you've kept it a secret you are aware of why. So it should be no surprise to you when people object especially if you bring children into the world knowing there could be many complications. We may love many people in our lifetime but that doesn't mean that we will live, marry and be happy with that person. Do yourself a favour and move on. If you are unable to seek out counselling. When you started this relationship you knew it was wrong or you wouldn't have hidden it...guess what it's still wrong and you still know it.

You have 3 perspectives. 1/ you may continue this secret life. Even you may marry to somebody else, but meet sometimes to satisfy your secret passions. An understanding spouse would be good, but there is no too much chance for this. 2/ you may move far form the family and start a normal marriage like life without the family. 3/ you take the risk of fighting with he family, you remain around them, but you expose your love, and you fight for your acceptance. You have to discuss this with your cousin.
