my itunes will not open at all

My itunes will not open at all I reinstalled it & everything what do I do?? I need to add music to my ipod

Do you have the latest version? If not I'd suggest that you updated it. However, if that doesn't work, you'll have to think about if there's anything on your computer that you changed (e.g. new program, different settings, etc.) since it was working last, because it could be causing the trouble. Moreover, if you have a firewall, that may be blocking it.
