What if I'm treated different because of my famous friends?

Well I act. I've been in some movies && tv shows. I have a lot of 'famous' friends like miley cyrus, hayden Panettiere, emily osment, sabrina b., miss. tiss mitch musso, zach efron, corbin, ect.&& now some people are starting to relieze. They dont treat me the same anymore and I hate it. im getting really mad && tried to tell them but they wont stop, I feel like I should stop acting but its my dream && I love it. what should I do?

It depends on why they are treating you differently. Is it because they got famous? Or because you got famous?

Deep down, you know what happened. So be honest with yourself about why they are treating you differently. From there, you can figure out how to keep your friends and still stay in acting. You should be able to do both.

I'm not an actor (but I did a play in college) and that didn't change anything.

However, in my 'day job' for a few years, since I've got unique experience when people realize this, I get asked for free help, offers for drinks, dinner, etc, and people expect me to give them assistance because I'm relatively well known in some circles for what I do.

Don't let it get to you - it'll happen, and the more famous you get, the more it'll happen. The people that really care about you and your unique qualities, won't start treating you any different once they're used to the change. Those that act weird, or funny, or want things from you, well, they probably aren't the kind of friends you deserve long term anyway.

Sorry, I don't believe you either. People who really have those people as their friends don't 'name drop'. And if they do, like you, then they are not really friends of those famous people. They use their names to further themselves. Also, if you really had this problem, you wouldn't come on a website and post it. You are just looking for attention, and guess what?? Unfortunately, we gave it to you.

Whell some people are blinded by the chance of popularity . I treat people how they want to be treated because if there famous or not there just people.. I've me Jerry Rice 3 times and I treated him like he was no ditfferent from any body else ..For tgose who dont know who he is he played for the football teams the raiders and the 9ers.

birds of a feather flock together.. I dont treat any two people differently no matter what.. status, fame or money or power, whatever the case. obviously you can tell they are treating you diff, so just avoid those people.
