Issues anyone?

Ok my girlfriend was raped by her dad... She has also had very bad previouse relationships... And in turn she will be all close and affectionate and then one second she wont be... And she tells me its not my fault she wants too be affectionate... But I...

am a guy that I show how I care just by being there all the time and holding her when were together... But when she gets woried and pulls away it scares me and makes me think I am in the wrong... She always says im not... But how can I let her know I love her and care about her without being clingy at least untill she is completely comfortable with me...

all I can say is by showing her you care by letting her know how you feel each day and tell everyone how much you appreciate her...
and she will defenitly know you have feelings...
and sometimes spoil her

Girls sexually traumatized will sometimes cling to their fear for life. They will have closeness issues. It's really not your fault and nothing to do with you, and you're doing good by being there for her and being gentle with her needs. Continue to understand her situation and always be there for her, and she will know that you love her. Her trust for you will grow in time, but she will have lapses of fear of proximity with you from time to time. Don't worry when it happens, it's not you, it just takes time to get over something horrible. If you want and she's up for it, you can take her to a weekly therapist together, to help her slowly overcome her trauma.

Your doing the right thing so don;t think you aren't. play it by ear honestly she is just scared of being hurt and really thats what everyone is scared of. Just let her know you really truly care and don't falsely asume your doing anything wrong. You seem like a nice guy and I'm sure you can figure it out
