so is using limewire illegal? I was wondering cus my friend says it is and another says it isnt. which do you think it is?

using limewire is not illegal, downloading copyrited material and not paying for it is tho. So any use you have for limewire is probably illegal

It is not illegal it is just not safe because of viruses and of copyrighted material that you aren't allowed to download.

as far as I am aware (and I use limewire) if you download music(I don't download films) but if you download music, and you don't pay for it, then, yes, it's illegal. if you have anything and you don't pay for it, then it's illegal.

simple...you don't pay... = illegal...
